An institutional "Indo-German Partnership Workshop" Is Held By The GNEC At IIT Roorkee

The "Indo-German Partnership Workshop" was held by the International Relations Office of the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) with the aim of fostering stronger scientific collaboration and relationships between Indian and German academic institutions. With two separate sessions, the event's theme was "Bridging Horizons: Indo-German Scientific Collaboration at IIT Roorkee." The session was held at the institute's other site in the NCR area, Greater Noida Centre (GNEC).
The potential of IIT Roorkee for scientific collaboration and support for establishing partnerships between Indian universities and German institutes was discussed by Ankit Agrawal, DAAD research ambassador, P Arumugam, dean of the department of physics, Akshay Dvivedi, dean of SRIC, and Vimal Chandra Srivastava, dean of international relations. In addition, the authorities spoke about joint research projects and stated that "over the past years, there has been a significant increase in the exchange of students and young researchers between Germany and India." The Indo-German Research Training Group (IRTG) is a new project that the two countries have started.
